Support

Our support tickets are answered on a first come, first serve basis.  You can file a support ticket here. We have teams across the globe and ticket wait times are usually less than 24 hours.

If, after migration, you’re still experiencing slow load times please let us know immediately.  Some sites are so poorly coded that there’s only so much we can do.  However, site speeds should generally perform much better than your previous hosting environment.  We can also provide speed metrics before / after your migration for your review.

Billing

  • Our hosting platform is designed for business owners who care about WordPress performance and a “hands-free” hosting experience. We handle everything for our clients to include but not limited to migration, setup, server maintenance, security and troubleshooting.
  • A huge selling point for our hosting service is our unique optimization process.  To date, we have yet to encounter another hosting provider that optimizes each site by hand like WPBeam. We provide 3 powerful plugins at no extra cost that will supercharge your site’s speed.  Not only do we provide the licensing, we install and configure them for you. These plugins are available for purchase by their respective developers, however our team has a great deal of experience configuring them on various site environments – we provide this service at no extra charge.  This is what truly sets us apart – we don’t just host, we optimize.
  • Our team is comprised entirely of WordPress web developers who have a vast amount of experience with the platform.  Issues are typically resolved more rapidly than other hosting platforms due to the skillset of our staff.  We’re available 24/7 for any questions you may have!

We’re currently offering a 30-day Money Back Guarantee.  This means if after 30 days of hosting, if you’re unsatisfied with your site speed or our level of service, we will issue a full refund and cancel your subscription for future months.  This does mean that all licensing for optimization tools like Optimole, Perfmatters, WPRocket & potentially others, will be revoked.

Pausing – You may cancel your subscription at any time – but we do not allow a “pause” since this is an ongoing service.  When cancelled you will retain hosting services for the remainder of your monthly time period.  Upon cancelling, when your hosting time period reaches the end date, we will remove all files and databases from our servers.  Please retain a backup for your records.  We offer daily backups for download should you need.

Upgrade / Downgrade – You can upgrade your plan at any time using the Upgrade / Downgrade option.  This will take you through a new checkout flow that will prorate any fees you’ve already paid.

Cancelling – You may cancel your subscription at any time.  When cancelled you will retain hosting services for the remainder of your monthly time period.  Upon cancelling, when your hosting time period reaches the end date, we will remove all files and databases from our servers.  Please retain a backup for your records.  We offer daily backups for download should you need.

Refunds – We handle refunds on a case by case basis – typically there needs to be some sort of event that prevents us from providing the premium level of service we require from our team and servers.  We do not gaurantee specific speed metrics – only that we do our best to improve on your previous hosting platform.  

At this time we do not offer any affiliate nor referral programs, although we do appreciate our customer’s support!

Each website requires it’s own subscription.  Please add an additional hosting package to your cart and checkout with the same account (make sure you’re logged in) to keep your sites all visible from the same portal. 

Backups

Your site will be backed up every day, for a 30-day time period.  We can restore these backups at anytime upon request.  We can also generate a download once per week for storage in the cloud or on your device.

Indeed we do! Our Enterprise plan has cloud-based backups on a more frequent basis.

Additionally, if you require backups every 6 or 12 hours – this would be a custom package we could setup on an individualy basis – please reach out if you’re interested!

Sending / Receiving Emails

Short Answer: No

Our service provides transactional email support out of the box.  We use Kinsta mail services to facilitate email sending/receiving. 

If you’re not receiving transactional emails (like a contact form for instance) please whitelist:

  • kinstamailservice.com
  • kinsta.cloud

If you’re still having issues – we do offer a SendGrid add-on which can avoid a lot of the issues with spam / blocked emails.  This is available only through our Enterprise package.  We will also configure the plugin for you at no extra charge.

Hosting & Tools

Honestly, it’s not even close.  Shared hosting platforms like GoDaddy, Bluehost, HostGator, etc. tend to perform on the low end with regard to site speed.  We’ve run a few tests and comparisons for you to check out on the about page.  The end result was WPBeam was over 2-3X faster than most hosts when comparing speeds of the same exact test website, hosted on different platforms.

It means that WPBeam handles all server maintenance, configurations, access and resource allocation for your website.  Think of it as a white-glove service in which we do the setup, optimizing & maintenance for you.  This type of hosting doesn’t appeal to everyone – particularly those that want full control over their server.  For those that aren’t as technical or don’t want to worry about it – we’re a perfect fit!

Our servers are hosted on GCP (Google Cloud Platform) and operated by Kinsta Hosting Services.  Kinsta is a powerful hosting platform that offers Managed WordPress hosting. Powerful in it’s own right for small to mid-sized businesses. So how are we different if we’re utilizing Kinsta’s backbone? As developers, we take hosting one step further – we optimize your site for you.  Server infrastructure can only get you so far, that’s where WPBeam comes in.  We bridge the gap between server and user by optimizing your theme and plugins on a case by case basis to achieve fast load times and high PageSpeed scores. This level of service doesn’t existing in the hosting industry without hiring a private developer. We’ve worked closely with Kinsta since it’s inception and we specifically chose to use their server infrastructure with our offering due to their emphasis on speed.
As you may have read, we only support PHP 8.0+ at WPBeam. However, we have good news, we handle all PHP updates during migration from 7.4 to 8.0 for FREE.  This includes updating your existing site to be compatible with the update.  This could potentially save you thousands in dev fees as some sites require some major adjustments to be functional with 8.0.

Portal

All plans have an Actions tab in the portal area.  This allows you to request actions like backups, creating staging environments, pushing staging to live, etc. We review all request to ensure proper execution and up-time.  Request typically take anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours, depending on the time of day and the request itself.

Since we are a fully managed hosting service we are very hands-on with our hosted sites.  We don’t automate any such request.  Although there is some automation involved, we carefully review the request, test and implement to minimize downtime.  Sometimes requests can take a few hours.

Unfortunately, as a fully managed host, we do not allow cPanel, Plesk or similar access to our servers.  This is purposeful in the sense that we can maintain server optimization, configuration and resource allocation to make your site as fast as possible.

For every individual WordPress Installation (beit a subdomain or a different domain) you will need a unique hosting slot on WPBeam.
